JUDEAN DESERT & DEAD SEA

GOLAN HEIGHTS

A volcanic plateau in northern Israel, once a battle field of wars between Israel and Syria. On its west side, the Golan is overlooking the Hula Valley and the Sea of Galilee, and on its east side - the border between Israel and Syria.  A day at the Golan Heights gives the visitor an opportunity to understand the formation of the border and the complexed Geopolitics of this region.
